About AnchorPoint

AnchorPoint is currently operated as an individual (sole trader) based in Cyprus, not yet a registered company. By making a booking — whether through this site or by phone — you're agreeing to these terms with the operator of AnchorPoint, reachable at anchorpoint2026@hotmail.com. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.

Bookings

There are no accounts on this site. Every booking — a boat rental, a dry storage plan, or a lesson — is a one-off guest checkout. The price shown at checkout is the final price; payment is processed securely by Stripe.

After payment, you'll be given a link to a receipt page with your booking details. There are no accounts to log into, so keep that link somewhere safe — it's the only record of your booking on our side that's addressed to you directly.

In the rare case we're unable to honour a paid rental booking because of a scheduling error on our end, we'll contact you to offer a full refund or alternative dates — your choice.

Cancellations & refunds

This applies however you booked — online or by phone:

Cancellations made after those windows are non-refundable.

To cancel, email anchorpoint2026@hotmail.com with your booking reference (shown on your receipt page, or given to you if you booked by phone). We'll confirm the cancellation and process any refund due back to your original payment method.

Lessons on this site are currently free, so no refund policy applies to them.

Note on storage bookings: EU consumer law gives online shoppers a statutory 14-day cancellation right for most purchases, though bookings tied to a specific date or period (like a boat rental) are typically exempt. We're still confirming whether that exemption applies to storage bookings the same way. Until that's confirmed, if you cancel a storage booking within 14 days of paying and before your storage start date, we'll honour a full refund regardless of the 7-day window above.

Boat rentals

Where a boat requires a license, you're confirming you hold a valid one for that category of boat. You're responsible for operating the boat safely, following local maritime regulations, and for any loss or damage caused by misuse during your rental period. Weather and sea conditions are outside our control — if conditions on the day make a rental unsafe, get in touch and we'll work out fair options with you.

Dry storage

Storage is billed for the plan and duration you select at checkout. You're responsible for the condition of your boat when it's dropped off, and for arranging collection at the end of your storage period.

Boating lessons

Lessons on this site are informational videos and are not a substitute for a formal boating license, certification, or in-person instruction where required by law.

Limitation of liability

We aim to describe every boat, storage plan, and lesson accurately, but we can't guarantee the site will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or a booking made through it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of Cyprus.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
