Privacy Policy
Who this policy covers
AnchorPoint is currently operated as an individual (sole trader) based in Cyprus, not yet a registered company. Throughout this policy, "we", "us", and "AnchorPoint" refer to the operator of this website. You can reach us at anchorpoint2026@hotmail.com for anything covered here.
What we collect
There are no user accounts on this site — every booking is a one-off, guest checkout. When you make a booking, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- Booking details — the boat, dates, storage plan, or lesson you booked, and any notes you add
We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own secure checkout page — your card number never passes through our servers.
Why we collect it
Solely to process and confirm your booking, send you the confirmation email and receipt link, and respond if you contact us about it. We don't use your data for marketing, and we don't send anything you didn't ask for.
Who we share it with
Your data is only ever shared with the services that make the booking work, each acting on our behalf:
- Stripe — processes your payment
- Supabase — hosts the database your booking is stored in
- Resend — sends your confirmation email
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else.
These providers may process data on servers outside the EU/EEA. Each maintains its own safeguards for international transfers (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses) — see Stripe's, Supabase's, and Resend's own privacy policies for details.
Cookies
This site does not use any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. It doesn't currently set any cookies of its own for visitors browsing the site.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for 6 years, in line with Cyprus accounting and tax record-keeping requirements, then delete them unless we're legally required to keep them longer. If you contact us for support, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to resolve it.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correct anything that's inaccurate
- Delete your data, where we're not required to keep it for legal reasons
- Restrict or object to how we use it
Email anchorpoint2026@hotmail.com for any of these. You can also complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection if you think we've mishandled your data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
